IND vs ENG 1st T20I highlights: India defeated England by seven wickets in the first T20I at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata, chasing down the target of 133 in just 12.5 overs by losing just three wickets.

Meanwhile, Abhishek Sharma was the top scorer for India, scoring 79 runs off 34 balls. Sanju Samson scored 26 while Tilak Verma was unbeaten on 19 when India crossed the finish line. India had won the toss and opted to bowl first.

Moreover, Varun Chakravarthy led a splendid effort with the ball for the Men in Blue. England’s batters had a horrid night, with only Jos Buttler scoring 68. Harry Brook (17 runs) and Jofra Archer (12) were the only  England batmans to score double figures.
