 Proposal to Change the Capital of   Bangladesh from Dhaka

1. Overpopulation – Dhaka is one of the most densely populated cities in the world, causing severe congestion and resource strain.

2. Traffic Crisis – The city's unmanageable traffic hampers daily life and economic productivity.

3. Environmental Issues – High levels of pollution, poor waste management, and frequent waterlogging make Dhaka less livable.

4. Decentralization – Shifting the capital can promote regional development and reduce Dhaka’s burden.

5. Disaster Risk – Dhaka is vulnerable to floods and earthquakes, making relocation a safer option.

6. Better Infrastructure – A new planned capital can have modern infrastructure and efficient urban management.

7. Economic Growth – Relocating the capital can stimulate investment and growth in other regions.

Possible alternatives: Rajshahi, Chattogram, Mymensing or Sylhet.
