Pizza Hut, founded in 1958 by brothers Dan and Frank Carney in Wichita, Kansas, with $600 borrowed from their mother, started as a small pizza place and has grown into a global pizza giant with over 19,000 restaurants in 130 countries.

Tell us about yourself – where are you and your family from?

“I was born and raised in Tahiti, French Polynesia. When I was 15 years old, I moved on my own to Poitiers, France, to attend high school and enter a tennis academy. After graduating, I got recruited to play tennis for Tarleton State University here in Texas and have lived in Texas ever since. Now, I’m an American citizen who is married with two boys.”
