 Afghanistan has a long history marked by invasions          and cultural exchange, including conquests by                 Alexander the Great and the Mongols. The modern

 state began with the Durrani Empire in the 18th   century, became a buffer state between the British

  and Russian empires, and achieved independence in   1919. Recent history includes the Soviet invasion in       1979, a subsequent civil war, the rise and fall of   the Taliban, and the US-led war after 2001.

Moreover, the Taliban first became prominent in 1994 and took over the Afghan capital, Kabul, in 1996. The takeover followed over 20 years of civil war and political instability. The American Army had gone away, and then the Taliban government. form to rule the country.

Consequently, the American withdrawal was finalized in August 2021, shortly after which the Taliban took control of Kabul and began their rule following the departure of foreign troops. This signaled the conclusion of the 20-year conflict, with the Taliban assuming control of the country. 

Recently, Pakistan and Afghanistan began a border crisis on 11 October 2025. Pakistani soldiers have already been killed in the border area. The Pakistan Border Force is involved. In Afghanistan, the Pakistan army is responsible. What is right or wrong has not yet been determined.

Short History of Pakistan

Pakistan, officially known as the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, is a country in South Asia. It ranks as the fifth-most populous nation, with over 241.5 million people, and has the second-largest Muslim population as of 2023. Islamabad is the capital city, while Karachi is its largest city and financial center. The history of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan began on 14 August 1947, when the country was established as the Dominion of Pakistan within the British Commonwealth, following the Pakistan Movement and the partition of India. Culture and food habits are similar, but in terms of tourism, business, and relationships, Pakistan shows more development than Afghanistan.
